AlbinusFabritius (Fabricius), (* about 1560 Görlitz/D, † December 19, 1635 Bruck ad Mur/St ?). Composer. Nothing is known about his education and early days. After stays in Denmark and Italy, he probably came to Styria. Maintained music as a hobby (dilettante) and joined the Benedictine monastery of St. Lambrecht as secretary. As a forge worker, he acquired a house in Bruck ad Mur, where he held the office of Counter-Reformation commissioner for Bruck and the Mürztal.
