Albert Meintjes is a singer-songwriter originally from Pretoria, South Africa now living in Glentana, Western Cape. He is a member of the band Scicoustic and also performed as Algrecko with Greg Georgiades. He started performing in 1996 and he sings songs of love and life, strongly influenced by folk and acoustic music from across the globe.
