About Al Tuck
Born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, Al grew up in a creative atmosphere (his father, Canon Robert Tuck, is well-known on PEI as an editorial cartoonist, Anglican cleric, historian, amateur-architect and published author); his first love being drawing. As a youngster he enjoyed sports, particularly street hockey and baseball. The first pop music he heard may have been a Nat King Cole 8-track that came with a gold Buick - the first of several family station-wagons.
