Akibakei are an international folk-jazz lounge band based in Tokyo, comprising of British singer-songwriter, Kev Gray; American saxophonist-flautist, Arnie Baruch; and Kiwi backing vocalist, Christy Strothers. The precursor to the Tokyo live favourite, The Gravy Train, the band made notable success on the Japanese music scene between 2004-2007 releasing the album, I Wouldn't Stop There, in early 2007.
