About Agustin Criollo
Born in 1969 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Agustín Criollo -journalist, writer, idealist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer- has been part of the local independent / DIY music scene since 1988 experimenting with rock, electronica, ambient and African rhythms, among others. He is regarded as one of the early performers of the local rock scene -pejoratively baptized as “La Escena”- that emerged from the punk rock movement back in the mid-1980s.
