About Afatia
Afatia's album "5:45" won the Best R&B or Hip Hop Album of 2007 Hoku Hanohano Award. In march of 2008 he opened for 50 Cent at a Blaisdell Center concert in Honolulu. Afatia Thompson was born in Honolulu, he graduated from Punahou High School, and he played football for the University of Hawaii. His parents are Jack Thompson and Cha Thompson, owners of Tihati Productions, company that has produced Polynesian shows, concerts, and lounge acts for more then 40 years.
