About Adventure Violence
Taking their name from the parental warning at the beginning of a science fiction film, Adventure Violence exists where rock and folk music mingle with art school sensibilities and obsessive pop hooks. Principle songwriter, John Winston Connell, met future bandmate David Rogers-Berry while the two were working at a DIY art space/dive bar known as "Apocalypse Lounge" in Manhattan's East Village. Connell and Rogers-Berry became roommates and recorded a handful of home demos
