Adam Lopez Costa (referred to as Adam Lopez), (born August 26 in Brisbane, Australia) is a pop musician, opera singer, vocal coach, and session vocalist. He is noted for his ability to produce extremely high notes in his whistle register and for his extensive vocal range, which is said to expand to more than seven octaves. He is currently a Guinness World Record holder for hitting the highest note by a male. Lopez was the second of three boys, born to Spanish immigrants Manuel Jesus Lopez Perez and Maria Del Rosario Costa Velasco.
