About Action 52
Action 52 is a Chicago-based video game cover band consisting of alto sax player Andrew Jennings, baritone sax player Emma Cushman Wood, accordionist Kevin Ryan, mandolin player Mikey Moran, percussionist Liz Sokol, bassist Lucas Gerber, and guitar player Ben "Kai" Zohar. The band, started in 2009, utilizes unusual folk and electronic instruments in their performances, all the while incorporating alternative methods of multi-media presentation, including magic tricks, puppet shows, YouTube videos, etc.
