Abbey Brass are a traditional brass band from Abingdon, South Oxfordshire, UK. Abbey Brass came into existence in 1977 when a group of parents got together to create a band for their youngsters to play with. Although at first lacking in material assets, enthusiasm and a determination to succeed saw them through the early difficulties, and interest in Abbey Brass quickly grew.
