abaricad originated in the summer of 2010, when Bryan Casey (vocals) & Travis Miller (guitar) met through a mutual friend and began writing songs together. The two moved to Athens, Georgia a year later and self-released a demo EP, 'You Can Only Lead Me Here'. Drawing heavily from influences ranging from but not exclusively to the likes of Trash Talk, Pianos Become the Teeth & Converge, abaricad meshes DIY powerviolence with the passion of the midwest wave to create a soundscape of explosive emotional distress.
