A Weeping Empathy is an psychedelic doomer grunge rock dream pop band. Officially formed in 2011, but has been in the making since early 2003. All recordings are done in a home-built studio in a bedroom. Influences range from Mazzy Star, The Beatles, Mod Fun, Nirvana, Portishead, Beach House, Daniel Johnston, Built To Spill, Veruca Salt, The Pixies, My Dying Bride and some Doo Wop gems. A Weeping Empathy incorporates many sonic elements while still keeping it on the simple side.
