About A Tribute to the Sounds of Man
ATttSoM is a spoken word/avant-garde project of Mark Horvath of Dekliq, Paradigm and Bad Reception fame. In 2003-2004, Horvath wrote a pair of abstract releases planned to be of the post-rock/avant-garde persuasion, but never saw the light of day. Three years later, after unearthing the lyrics, Horvath, using background music from bands such as Year of No Light and Paradigm lead guitarist Mike Murphy, recorded spoken-word versions of the tracks to release among friends and other interested parties.
