About A Rebours
À Rebours is an upstate NY band. The sound draws from a palette of indie rock, goth, shoegaze and progressive elements. Members include Ian Stone (founder) on vocals and guitars, Ryan Holmes on bass, Nathan McDowell on drums and Honkus on live synth and additional percussion. À Rebours' debut album, "Vanish" was released in September of 2007. It received good reviews in alternative magazines and online 'zines and has received airplay all over the world. A second album, "The Parliament of Rooks" is currently in production.
