A Fresh New Someting is a small electro/acoustic band formed in 2010, and run by two dudes, Jaron Johnson and Austin "Dickson" Dickson. AFNS was formed in New Concord, Ohio by these two in a word processing class at the local high school. Both of them being shy and awkward, their friendship wouldn't have existed if Dickson hadn't seen Jaron writing lyrics one day. Without a word, Dickson slid a notebook in which he'd been writing over to Jaron, who simply sat down his pen, and began reading.
