“Time to challenge your idea of how heavy rock music sounds today.” The music of 81db has been often described as an original rock musical kaleidoscope. It combines heavy riffs, crazy tempos, progressive and alternative rock melodies and often eastern sounds taken from the Greek background of the founder of the band, Kostas Ladopoulos. After 81db were chosen to be the opening band for Deep Purple in Torino in 2007, the band had their first album out on 2009 in Italy (Orion’s Belt/Self) and in Greece (Orion’s Belt/EMI).
