Seven Hard Years, or 7HY if you like, is the brainchild of ex-Shy drummer Alan Kelly but 7HY is no mere Shy clone. The first 7HY album, 'No Place in Heaven' released on Lynchburg Music in 2014, was well-received among fans and the press alike. The second ‘7HY’ album 'Stories We Tell' (2016) will no doubt please rock fans across the world. In 2017 'For The Record' was released followed by 'No Going Back in 2019. An acoustic "best of" was released in 2021, Rogues Gallery.
