Punk, New Wave and Pop were the three styles more present in the compilation "4 Underground Bands From The USSR", the common name for the four famous Soviet Rock groups of 80s: Аквариум (Aquarium), Кино (Kino - Russian for Film or Cinema), Алиса (Alisa) and Странные Игры (Strange Games). These groups got this name thanks to the album "Red Wave", which was the first album of Soviet rock music published on the West. It was published as double vinyl under label "Big Times Records" from California on June, 27th 1986.
