20 Amp Soundchild grew up in Pickering, Ontario; forming in 2008 and completing their first album, the self-titled, ’20 Amp Soundchild’ in the summer of 2009. 20amp’s debut EP was recorded and produced at the Pocket Studios in Toronto by Mike Turner of Crash Karma (formerly of Our Lady Peace). In Turner’s words, "I like that they have a sound of their own," he says. "Nick's vocals and Justin's guitar atop David and Ryan's solid rhythm section add up to more than the sum of their individual parts.
