1st Century were a studio outfit and probably a one off 45 deal for former Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs guitarist Ray Stinnett. He wrote both sides of this obscure single. 'Looking Down' is a sitar psych pop song with chunky bass runs. The other side 'Dancing Girl' is another slice of psychedelia with a strange mix of flute and sitar.
