There are three bands using the name 13 Stitches. 1. Dan Gaylard (guitar, vocals) and Mike Denham (drums) started their first band, Thorn, back in 1996 when they were 15 years old with the influence of Nirvana and Green Day. By 2001, members had come and gone only to send Thorn into the inevitable end which so many bands face every year.
