About 10th Grade Cutie
"10th Grade Cutie is a part of a new wave of punk bands like Freddy Gonorrhea and the Gunz and Cop Warmth festering around town who mine more from Don Walsh and the late 70’s than grunge or early 90’s indie like most H-Town kids. Whereas the other two are straight-ahead rock, Cutie seems to veer off into some kind of Butthole Surfers and Captain Beefheart tunnel. Routinely antagonizing other lesser and more sensitive bands for well, sucking, this gaggle of Friendswood boys has been playing shows around home for about a year now.
